Let’s make a difference
together
Anytime is the right time to give back. However, Nearwater is designating September as “Giving Month” to highlight the importance of giving and the impact it can have on our community.
Below we are profiling a couple of charities that are making a difference in people’s lives in what has been a difficult time for so many.
It's
Giving
Month
A small amount makes a big difference
Our hope is that whether it’s one of the organizations below or a charity close to your heart, that this month we are reminded about the importance of giving.
It’s also important to remember that giving doesn’t have to be monetary. Whether it's clothing, unused items of value, or your own time, any kind of donation can make a big impact. Often overlooked, what many charities really need is volunteers for outreach and interfacing with those in need.

Giving is personal so there is no one “right answer.” Choose what works for you and feel great that you are making a difference.
